Deceased Name: Leo E. Mayo
Leo E. Mayo, 77, of Whitney Street, Nashua, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, January 30th at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. Born in Nashua on May 21, 1930, Leo was a son of the late Mylan and Edith (Bellefleur) Mayo.
Mr. Mayo grew up in Nashua and Worcester, MA and had made his home in Nashua for many years. Leo married the former Joan L. Bonenfant on August 6, 1966.
Educated in Nashua and Worcester, MA schools, Mr. Mayo was an Air Force veteran, serving as an Airman Second Class during the Korean War.
Mr. Mayo was employed as a truck driver by the former Merrivale Casket Company in Nashua for twenty years and then worked as a truck driver for the Work Place, Inc. of Londonderry.
Leo was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Parish in Nashua and St. John Neumann Parish in Merrimack. He enjoyed playing cards and going to Foxwoods.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mayo was predeceased by a son, Leo E. Mayo, Jr., who died October 13, 1986; a granddaughter, Kelly Larocque; two brothers, Harold and John Mayo; and a sister, Beatrice Mayo.
Members of his family include his wife of 41 years, Joan L. Mayo; a son, Mark A. Mayo of Raleigh, NC; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kathleen and Stanley Larocque of Middletown, CT, Cynthia and Gary Bathalon of Manchester, Lori and John Robicheau of Hudson and Janet Mayo of Nashua; his stepmother, Carmella Mayo of Worcester, MA; eleven grandchildren, Toni, Tara, James, Cody, Tyler, Amanda, Melissa, Hannah, Dylan Leo, Jillian and Emily; four great-grandchildren, Faith, Tayvia, Raina and Ivy; a brother, Mylan "Lonnie" Mayo of Worcester, MA; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 50 West Hollis St., Nashua, Saturday morning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
