Mrs. Mable Hackley, 88, Remington, Dies
Mrs. Mable F. Hackley, 88, a native of Remington died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the Remingotn Rest Home where she had been a patient four months. She had been ill seven months.
Mrs. Hackley attended the White county schools and was married in 1901 to Robert Hackley, who died in 1948. They farmed south of Remington.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doris Schembs of Route 2, Remington, and two sons, Clyde of Route 1, Fowler and Harold of Route 1, Wolcottt. Also, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Last rites are to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stitz funeral home, Remington, Rev. Everett Claton officiating. Interment is to be in Remington cemetery.
