Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church for Mr. Lloyd Astor Eubanks, 18, Route 1, Centre, who died Tuesday, Oct 19, 1993. The Revs. Michael Manning and Leon Stager will officiate. Burial in adjoining cemetery. Perry Funeral Home, Centre, is in charge.
He was a native of Cherokee County, member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired School Bus Maintenance Supervisor with the Cherokee County Board of Education.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Marion and Bessie Irene Pitts Eubanks; and wife Bessie Tucker Eubanks, April 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Harper Wood Eubanks; step-daughters, Louise Lowery, Rome, Ga., and Lillian Clark, Hawkinsville, Ga.; step-son, William H. Wood, Vionna, Ga.; sisters, Tevis Estos and Murial Moon, both of Centre, and Jane Lumsden, Clearwater, Fla.; 10 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery fund, c/0 Mrs. Larry Walker, Route 2, Box 458-A, Centre.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
