Rosemarie Carbon Bergeron passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Henry Carbon and Viola Blanchard Carbon. Beloved wife of 55 years of the late Wallace Bergeron. Loving mother of Glenn Bergeron (Kimberlee), Gary Bergeron (Elizabeth) and Gail Bergeron Maniscalco (Joseph, deceased). Devoted grandmother of Ryan Bergeron, Brett Bergeron (Carlye), Kelly Cummings (Brad), Blair Berthelot, Kyle Berthelot and Grace Bergeron. Great grandmother of Benjamin Bergeron, Andrew Bergeron, Lucy Bergeron, Katherine Cummings and Caroline Cummings. Sister of Bernard: Carbon and the late Shirley Daigle, Anna Bourg, Frank Carbon and Claudia Lenfant, Also survived by nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and many other relatives and friends. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 16, 1923, she lived most of her life in the greater New Orleans area with her most recent residence being Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a dedicated teacher for many years at St. Raphael School in New Orleans. Mrs. Bergeron will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in All Saints Mausoleum.
