"Erastus D. Ingraham, one of the best known farmers of the town of Greene, a man much esteemed by all who knew him,, died at his hoe about three miles south of this village Monday last, aged 74 years, being ill only five days with pneumonia.
Mr. Ingraham had spent nearly his entire life on the farm where he died, moving there when a young man, and is the last of the earlier residents who located at whet is known as Stillwater.
He is survived by his wife (Jane), one daughter, Mrs. Hugh C. Elliott; one son, Floyd Ingraham; and six grandchildren, all of Greene; also three brothers and one sister, all of Chenango Forks.
The funeral was held at the home Wednesday; interment Sylvan Lawn."
