A daughter of Joseph and Millie Dinwiddie, she was born in Pike county, Mo. May 26, 1871. On July 27, 1886, she married James May in Greenville. Mr. May died Feb 6, 1897.
She married John J. Bott in Quincy on June 13, 1900. Mr. Bott died on Nov. 30, 1903.
She leaves one son, Joseph E. May of Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Workman of Pacific Grove, Calif., and Miss Lora Thelma Bott of Chicago; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Three sons, John J. May, James R. May and William D. Bott, preceded her in death.
Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery.
