Edith's mother & father taught school, then her father worked as a bank cashier in Hull Ill. She loved riding and had her own horse. Edith was well educated, and was a professor (of mathematics ?) at William Woods University in Missouri.
Edith loved to travel, and spent many winters in Florida, finally moving there (Sarasota), and sent relatives fruit at Christmas time. Edith was cremated at Toale Brother's Crematory in Bradenton, Fl., and is interred in the same cemetery as her parents and sister in Hardin, Illinois.
