J T McFadden, 83, Succumbs at Freer
James Thomas McFadden, 83, died at his home in Freer, Sunday at 3:30 p.m. after an illness of about nine months. Funeral services will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at Freer Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev, J H Cobb of Alice officiating, and burial will be in Hahl Memorial Park, Freer, under the direction of Wright Funeral Home of Alice. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lawrence Allison, E. D. Pierce, James Maxwell, Floyd Tucker, Buddy Pratt & Willy Maxwell. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Sarah McFadden; three sons, James E McFadden of Hebbronville, Luther Arnold of Austin, William Thomas of Fort Stockton; three daughters; Mrs. Lola Harrison and Mrs. Alice Maxwell of Freer, and Mrs. Viola Allison of Brownwood; 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
