Mary Louise (Aites) Coon, 72, of Ford City, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, in Fair Winds Manor. Born Aug. 31, 1938, in Ford City, she was a daughter of the late Edward W. and Anna (Burdett) Reitler. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God, Ford City. She is survived by her son, Dennis C. (Cathy) Aites, of Fairmont, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Zachary Carl Aites, Aaron Tyler Aites, Caleb Ian Aites and Isaiah Abram Aites; three brothers, Harry Reitler, of East Brady, Edward Wayne Reitler Jr., of East Brady, and Timothy Reitler, of Shirleysburg; and nine sisters, Judith (Richard) Aites, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Kay (Stanley) Grafton, of Schenley, Nancy (Harold) Crihfield, of Uneeda, W.Va., Cheryl (Donald) McGinnis, of Kittanning, Bonnie (Jessie) Aikers, of Winchester, Tenn., Connie (Galen) Conner, of Clarion, Monessa Marano, of Penn Hills, Dolly (Kenneth) Bowser, of Rimersburg, and Debra Reitler, of Rimersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, the Rev. Virgil C. Aites in 1989; and her second husband, William R. Coon, in 2002. Friends will be welcomed from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City. Additional visitation will be held from noon Monday until the time of services at 2 p.m. in the CARPENTER FORD FUNERAL HOME, Fairmont, W.Va. Interment will follow in Pride Cemetery, Fairmont, W.Va.
