Wm. K. GALLUP, 87, well known Jefferson County resident, died last night at Jefferson Co. Hospital. Father of Lee GALLUP, Jefferson County representative to the state legislature. Hoskins Funeral Home. Burial in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville, his home community.
Born Dec. 21, 1867, in Peoria County, Ill., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kinney GALLUP; married Dec. 25, 1894, Stella THOMPSON, who preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1927. Had made his home in the Libertyville community since 1894, but in more recent years he had made his home with his son Howard, who resides near Batavia. Member Bethel Methodist Church.
Survived by two sons, Howard of Batavia, and Lee who lives near Libertyville; three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. He is the last of his family.
