MRS. EMMA STEWART ANSWERS SUMMONS

Mrs. Emma Luella Stewart, 82, widow of the late Robert Stewart died at 1 p.m. Sunday at her home at Tocsin. Death was due to a heart attack suffered as she prepared to leave to spend the winter at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alfred Wisner, of Craigville route 1.

She was born in Adams county on Mar. 1, 1866, a daughter of William and Hannah Jones Shady. Her marriage on July 24, 1887, was to Robert C. Stewart, who preceded her in death on April 8, 1937.

She was a member of the Lancaster United Brethren church.

Surviving are two sons, Oscar Stewart, of Bluffton, and Earl Stewart, of Meeker, Colo.; the daughter, Mrs. Wisner; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Trenary, and a brother, Vernon Shady, both of Bluffton, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Thoma funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesdy afternoon at the Thoma funeral home with Rev. J. F. Bright officiating. Burial will be in the Tocsin cemetery.
