ONEIDA - Mrs. Catherine
Flagler McSweeney. 63. of 106
East Elm St., wife of Austin S.
McSweeney, died Wednesday at
Oneida City Hospital.
She was born in New York
City the daughter of John and
Margaret Purdy Flagler. She
had lived in Oneida most of her
life. She was married to Mr.
McSweeney in 1925 in Oneida.
She was a member of St.
Joseph's Church and its Altar-
Rosary Society.
Besides her husband she
leaves two sons, the Rev. John
J. McSweeney, Oneida, and A.
R o b e r t McSweeney, Sylvan
Beach; three daughters, Mrs.
William (Bernice) Mott, Garden
Grove, Calif, Mrs Charles
(Dolores) Wright, Sherrill and
Mrs. Arthur (Lorraine) Mayer,
Oneida Castle; three sisters,
Mrs. Elva Golley, Oneida, Mrs.
E d w a r d (Mildred) Harding,
Wampsville and Mrs. Frank
(Thelma) Golden, North Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 9:30
Saturday from the Coolican-
McSweeney Funeral Home and
at 10 from St. Joseph's Church.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's
Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9
tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
Friday. The Altar-Rosary will
- recite the rosary at 8 Friday.
