He was a son of Thurston F. and Mrs. Maryetta Graham Andrus. He was a native of Norfolk and served in the Army during World War I.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Marion R. Creamer and Mrs. Mary Virginia Dudley and two brothers, Raymond F. Andrus and William S. Andrus, all of Norfolk.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
