Susy A. Timson Otis, 89, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010. She was born April 27, 1921 in Columbus and was a graduate of North High School. Susy married Lawrence J. Otis and they had four children. Susy was a wonderful wife and mother who was a role model to everyone and a mom to all. You always left in a better mood after a visit with her and she never knew a stranger. Her parting words were "Have a happy!" Susy was a story teller, loved to tease, enjoyed painting and crocheting, and listening to country music. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Otis in 2008; daughter, Linda Otis in 2008; parents, Lawrence and Myrtle Timson; 8 brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Glenda Otis and her beloved dog, Peaches. Susy will be missed by her loving children, Larry A. Otis, Christy L. (Bud) May, and Cheryll (Jack) Williams; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews who knew her as "Aunt Needy"; and special friends Sharrel, Sue, and Sandy.
