Funeral services for Willie Lawrence Brown,
64, a resident of Iowa Park since 1943, was
Monday afternoon from the Church of Christ.
Boyd Taylor, minister of the Petrolia Church of Christ, officiated. He was assisted by John Maples, minister of the Iowa Park Church of Christ.
Burial was in the Highland Cemetery under the
direction of Tanner Furneral Home.
Pallbearers were W. D. Vestal, Harrel Sullivan,
S.B. Keeter, Stanley Wright, Ralph Beall and
Charles Naylor of Wichita Falls.
Born Oct. 17, 1905 in Erath County, he was married
to Neta Spain of Archer City Sept. 11, 1934.
He wa a pumper for the Henry Grace Production Co.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife; his mother Naomi Lane of
Iowa Park; one daughter, Mrs Donald Morgan of Denton;
two sons, Leon of Electra and Carlton of Iowa Park;
one sister, Mrs. Marion Davis of Wilson, Okla.;
one brother, J. G. Brown of Brownwood; and six
grandchildren.
