The Huntington Herald gives the following account of the death of Mrs Gore in Huntington, and who was well known in Hinton, having formerly lived with her daughter, Mrs G J Hughes of this city.
At the age of 84 years Mrs R D Gore, mother of A W Gore of 916 Fifth avenue died Sunday evening from infirmities. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Athens, W Va. Funeral services will be held at the home near Pride, W Va, Wednesday. The following sons and daughters survive: A W Gore of Huntington; J A Gore of New Mexico; Granger Gore, Mercer county, Wva; Hennison Gore, Washington state; Sigon Gore, Kanawha county; Mrs Rachael Hughes, of Hinton, W Va; Mrs Allie Alexander of British Columbia, and Mrs Minnie Keatley, of Mercer county.
