BEMENT – Mrs. Grover (Mabel G. Hamman) Adams, 86, of Bement died 1:15 a. m. Friday (March 26, 1982) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Roux Funeral Home, Bement, with visitation after 6 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Bement Cemetery. Memorials: Bement Presbyterian Church or American Red Cross
Mrs. Adams was born in Iowa, daughter of William and Nettie Hamman. She was a member of Bement Presbyterian Church, member and president of Bement Chapter of American Red Cross and former president of Mothers of World War II. She married Grover Adams in 1915.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Lyle of Decatur; Hamman J. of Bement; daughters, Frances Bruner and Betty Hendrix, both of Bement; brother, Chauncey Hamman of Santa Cruz, Calif.; sisters, Irene Crabbe of Los Angeles, Calif.; Fleta Robbins of South Laguna Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
