CENTERTON — Michael Wayne Savard, 20, of Centerton, Ark., was called home by his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, in Centerton, Ark. He was born March 29, 1990, at Springfield, Mo., the son of Jack Savard and Patricia Varner Savard.
He enjoyed church, playing and listening to music, foreign cars, Razorbacks football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, acting and performing in plays, and bringing smiles, laughter and joy to the people in his life. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for seven years after moving from Joplin, Mo.
God now has His special son beside him in Heaven, and even though Michael will be painfully missed by all of us who have been touched by his life here on earth, he will be with all of us in our hearts and such very happy memories forever.
Michael is survived by his father, Jack Savard and his wife, Karla Savard, of Centerton, Ark.; his mother, Patricia Savard of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Cameron Savard of Centerton, Ark.; two stepbrothers, Josh and Darren Richard of Fayetteville, Ark.; an aunt, Leesa Harrison of Joplin, Mo.; a great-aunt, Sally Freeman of Springfield, Mo.; his paternal grandfather, Wayne Anthony Savard of Joplin, Mo.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, an amazing number of very special, adoring friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers, Ark.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Rogers, Ark.
Interment will follow at Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Ark.
Memorials may be sent in his name to American Heart Association.
