Lulu M. Clark
Mrs. Lulu M. CLARK, 82, R.R. 2, Akron, died at 2 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn hospital where she had been a patient for two days. She was a lifetime resident of the Mentone and Akron communities.
Mrs. Clark was born Dec. 2, 1878 near Mentone to Rull and Anna ENGLE JEFFERIES. She was married Aug. 14, 1897 in Mentone to Delbert CLARK, who survives. She was a member of the Brethren church.
Surviving with the husband are three sons, Melvin, George and Everett [CLARK], all of Akron; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Pauline) SHOEMAKER, R.R. 2, Macy; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Flossie COPLEN, Tippecanoe. One son, one daughter, two brothers and one sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron. The Rev. D. L. SLAYBAUGH will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery at Athens. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.
