The death of Mrs.Mary Jane Carey,wife of Leonard Carey,occurred on Thursday afternoon,after only a week's illness, of pneumonia,Her advanced age of 70yrs.rendered her condition grave from the first.She was of a very quiet, retiring disposition, and though the greater part of her life was spent in this vininity,she was not widely know outside the home circle where, her influence was most deeply felt.She leaves an aged husband, two daughters and five sons to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted at her late residence by Rev.A.R.Atwood on Sunday afternoon.
