Pulaski Co, Man Found In
Barn By Wife
James Edward Anderson, 67,
ended his life by shooting himself
in the forehead with a 22 caliber
r i f l e Thursday morning at his
home six miles northeast of Royal
Center.
His wife, who had been aiding
neighbors in preparing a commun-
ity dinner, found his body in the
barn at their home when she returned
about 3:30 yesterday after-
n o o n . He had been in poor health
for some time.
Dr. Burger, of Franccsville. Pulaski
county coroner, was called.
A native of Gram Park. Ill., h e
was born March 24. 1886, son of
John and Adeline Westerberg Anderson.
He moved near Royal Center
as a youth and had lived in the
Victor Chapel neighborhood for a
numbrr of years.
S u r v i v o r s a r e his wife, Emma;
one sister, Mrs. Mary Swanson,
Twelve Mile, several nieces and
nephews.
The body is at the Harrison
funeral home where friends may
call. Rites will be there at two
o'clock Sunday afternoon with
burial in the Victor Chapel cemetery
