Funeral services for Herbert W. French 75, who died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in his home, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Illini Church with the burial in the cemetery there, the body has been removed from Dawson-Wilkoff funeral home and taken to his residence, where friends may call. Mr. French who had been ill for the past 3 years, retired from farming 20 years ago, and took up carpentry, born near Warrensburg, October 13, 1872 he was first married to Adelia B. Hardbarger, following her death in 1913, he married Della James in 1916. Besides his wife he leaves four children, two sisters and several grandchildren, a son and daughter preceded him in death.
