Pana, Myrtle M. Turner 85. of Rural Route 1, died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday at her niece's home in Peoria. Born April 23, 1899, in Warrensburg to Herbert W. French and Adelia B. Hardbarger she married Edwin L. Turner in 1925 in Decatur. He died June 3, 1963. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. David (Ruth) Anthony of Peoria, and Mrs. Alice M. Nutter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She owned and operated Turner's Cafe in Pana for five years. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p,m, Wednesday at the Illini Cemetery, in Warrensburg. There will be no visitation. Wilton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
