Henry A. Luth, 90, of Glenbeulah, died Monday at Plymouth Hospital, where he had been a patient for a day.
He was born May 16, 1892, in the Town of Greenbush, son of John and Christina Deicher Luth. He attended Glenbeulah grade and high school.
On April 25, 1914, he married Ella Kessel at Elkhart Lake. They farmed in the Town of Greenbush, moving to Glenbeulah in 1954. Mrs. Luth died Feb. 15, 1975.
Mr. Luth was a resident of Valley Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth since December 1981. He was a member of Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake. He served as the assessor of the Village of Glenbeulah for many years and was an umpire in the Kettle Moraine Baseball League for many years.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Dorinda) Dorn of New Holstein; a son, Earl Luth of the Town of Greenbush; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake. The Rev. Robert Lee Johnston, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Elkhart Lake. Friends may call at Witt-kopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
