Mrs. Sarah Ball, aged 79 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Hatt, November 12th. She suffered a stroke of
paralysis from which she never regained strength. The greater part of her life has been spent in Searsburg. A member of the Christian church and a willing helper in all activities as long as health permitted. She will be missed by many friends and those who best knew her. She leaves to mourn her four children: Mrs. George Hatt of this place, Mrs. Charles Davis of Trumansburg, Mr. Purdy Ball of Covert and Bert Ball. The body was laid to rest in Valois.
