REST IN PEACE.. A richer man I have never known, not in material things, rich in so many true and loving friends.
Pappy was a recovering Alcoholic. He was in AA and Al anon.
The testimony of so very many of those he helped in their journey thru these groups were so overwhelming to his family. At his request an AA meeting was held in the funeral parlor the day of his funeral. Many of Pappy's family were there, and eyes were opened to how wonderful AA is. The hundreds that came thru those sad days will never know how they helped to heal our broken hearts. They were at the hospital by our sides and even in our meetings with the Drs. helping make hard decisions, that is the way Ronnie would have wanted it.

Funeral for Ronnie Glenn Penn, 68, of Hartselle will be today, May 23, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
