Harold Cross, 61, Stover, Mo., formerly of this area died Feb 1, 1989, at home. He was born in Marshall, Mo., and lived in Kansas City before moving to Stover in 1974. Mr Cross was a driver for the Doran Truck Line in Kansas Cityfrom1951 until he retired in 1981. He was a member of the Teamsters union. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a former member of Holy Name Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Z. Cross; two sons, Mark and Cristopher; and two daughters Karen and Nancy, all of Kansas City, Kan.; his father and stepmother Harry and Lillie; a brother, Robert; six sisters Norma McGrath, Phyllis Ade, Vera Byrnes, Marilyn Gumminger and Mina Herriman; and five grandchildren. Services were held at 10 a.m. Sat. and burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
