He was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Key West, Fla. A Navy Seabees veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was a retired civil engineer for the Department of Energy, a 60-year resident of Henderson and a former Henderson City Councilman.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna of Henderson; sons, Robert and Roger, both of Mountain View, Wyo., and Donal and James, both of Henderson; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cholla Street chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Graveside services will be at 10:40 a.m. Friday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
