Mrs. Cora Stoner Emerson, 70, of 710 N. West-st, died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday at her home following an illness of two years.

She was born Apr. 17, 1881, in Lima. She was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church.

Surviving are her husband, Claude Emerson; three sons John and Elmer Stoner, 1730 E. High-st-rd, and Gale Stoner, 1845 E. High-st-rd; two stepsons, Orris Emerson, Detroit, and William Emerson, 662 1/2 S. Elizabeth-st; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Evelyn Schroeder, Union City, Mich.; one brother, Chet Richard, Tecumseh, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Cleda Murray, Harrod, Mrs. Zelma Driver, Mrs. Pearl Winter and Mrs. Leona Trautman, all of Ft. Wayne; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chiles and Son chapel, with the Rev. Paul Graeser officiating. Burial will be in Salem cemetery, southeast of Lima.
