Nichols - Mrs. Mary Eunice Jackson Ford, was killed instantly in an automobile accident near here yesterday morning.

Mrs. Ford was born in Dillon County, the daughter of Asbury and Mary Sue Carmichael Jackson. She was married to the late Daniel Roy Ford Sr. She was a member of the Floyds Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Floyds Methodist Church with the Rev. B.B. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Floyds Cemetery directed by Cox Collins Funeral Home.

Surviving are seven sons, Z.T. Ford of Florence, Asbury Ford of Loris, J. Boyd Ford of Aynor, Daniel Roy Ford, Jr., of Portsmouth, Va., J. Luther Ford of Nichols, Edgar B. Ford of Fair Bluff, N.C., and H.B. Ford of Nichols; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Nunnery of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. C.E. (Sarah) Connelly of Nichols; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Also three brothers, D.R. Jackson, A.B. Jackson, and W.A. Jackson, all of Tabor City, N.C.; two sisters, Miss Iola Jackson and Miss Dora Jackson of Tabor City, N.C., and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be at the home near Duford.
