Mr. Riley was born in Bishopville a son of the late Christopher Columbus & Mamie Elizabeth Walters Riley. He was retired from Sonoco Products Co. after 37 years of service, member of the Old Timers Club, Patesville Masonic Lodge and a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Rosa Lee Hatchell Riley, Bishopville, daughter, Janice (Robert) Busby of Columbia; sons, Mike (Diane) Riley of North Myrtle Beach, Don (Becky) Riley of Bishopville; 8 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
