Bernice Bowers, 96, of OKC passed away Nov. 16, 2010. She was born Dec. 1, 1913 in Minco, OK to Brant and Georgeann Davis. Bernice was a longtime area resident and had worked for John A. Brown and Kerr's. She was a member of Rancho Village Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther; sons, Don and Richard Bowers; sisters, Zona Eisenhour and Lucille Gable; brother, Estel Davis; and granddaughter, Shiree Randell. Survivors include her grandchildren, Alicia Smith, Heather Smith and Leticia Bowers; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jim Bowers and wife Bo; daughters-in-law, Beverly Hughes and Louise Windstein. Viewing will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Services are 2:00 PM Friday at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel
