Mrs. Susan (Cordia) Deardorff, 75, of 305 E. Queen St., died unexpectedly at 6 a.m. today at her home. She was the wife of William C. Dearorff.
Born May 17, 1887, at Greenvillage, she was a daughter of the late Howard F. and Martha Ann Cocklin Zumbro. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, the Alpha Ladies Sunday School Class and the WSWS of the church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, William H. Deardorff, 305 E. Queen St., and Robert M. Deardorff, Rome, Italy; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. SHe was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Barbour funeral home with the Rev. Dr. J. Stewart Glen officiating. Burial will be made in Norland Cemetery.
