The remains of young Finley Ballard, who died in the hospital at Morgantown early last Sunday morning from the result of an operation for appendicitis, arrived in Charleston over the K & M en-route for his home in Monroe county for burial. The deceased was a son of M F Ballard, of Monroe county, and a brother of Attorney E L Ballard of this city. He was a student at the West Virginia University and a bright and ambitious young man. His death was very unexpected and came as a shock to his relatives and friends. The remains were accompanied by Cade Groves of the University.
