Chad L. Cancel of Van Buren, Arkansas; formerly of Huntington, Arkansas, died Friday, November 26, 2010, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Chad was 27 years old. He was a self-employed electrician; and he had attended Mansfield Public School and Hartford Public School.
Chad was the son of Dennis Cancel and Debbie Cancel.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Cancel, of the home; two daughters: Destiny Cancel and Rileigh Solomon; his mother: Debbie Cancel, of Sugarloaf Lake Community, Arkansas; his father: Dennis Cancel, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sisters: Brittany Moore and her husband: David, of Mansfield, Arkansas; and Christine Sabatucci and her husband: Michael, of Sugarloaf Lake Community, Arkansas; two brothers: Steven Cancel and his wife: Dianna, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Brandon Cancel, of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandmother: Toni Aldrich; his grandfather: Danny Slate, of Huntington, Arkansas; other relatives; and many good friends.

Funeral services were held at Grand Ave. Baptist Church, in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 2, 2010. Chad was laid to rest at the Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were his father: Dennis Cancel, his brothers: Steven and Brandon Cancel; William White, Bill White, and Lucas White.
