Minnie Lee Hacke, 79, of Latham, Died Saturday Morning
Mrs Minnie Lee Hacke, resident of Latham and vicinity for over 60 years, died in her home in Latham at 12:20 AM. Saturday, she was aged 79 years 10 months and 28 days. Her health had been failing for several months. Minne L. Hardbarger was born October 2, 1872, in the State of Virginia, daughter of Timothy and Mary Hardbarger and came to Illinois in early womanhood, and married James Hacke, her husband, preceded her in death on November 22, 1939, she was a member of the Christian Church. Decedent is survived by one son William Hacke, Latham, Four daughters, Miss Lucille Hacke, Latham, Miss Pearl Hacke, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Mary Wedemeier, Middletown Missouri, Mrs. Minnie Beck, Bloomington, Illinois, Five Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren, Two brothers Clyde Hardbarger, lives in Illiopolis, and John Hardbarger of Dawson, one sister lives in Arizona. One son George was killed in a elevator accident, in Latham in January 1952. The remains were removed to the Schahl funeral home in Mt. Pulaski, where funeral services were held at 2 PM Monday, September 1st. Conducted by Rev. Robert Wilkes, pastor of the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church, two Hymns were "Abide with me" and "Beyond the Sunrise" were sung. (continued page 6)
