ADA, Sept. 9 - Mrs. Mary Jane Epley, 67, died at her home five miles southeast of Ada on Saturday following a heart attack. She was a member of the Dola Presbyterian church, Ladies Aid society, Washington Grange and the Ada American Legion auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, John W., who has been bedridden for the past two years with paralysis; a son, Roy S., and a daughter, Mae E., at home; a brother, Lewis Vanatta of Prospect; and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Hogan and Mrs. Annie Everhart of Marion.
The body will lie in state at the home from Monday evening until time of services which will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Dola Presbyterian church with Rev. Walter Condon, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery, south of Ada.
