James H. Beasley James Harley Beasley, 78, of Bloomingdale, died Nov. 29 at home. He was a native of Bulloch County, a veteran of World War II and owner/operator of Beasley's machine and repair shop. He was a former deputy sheriff of Chatham County. He also helped develop the Bloomingdale Volunteer Fire Department and was a firefighter. He was a member of Lanes Primitive Baptist Church in Stilson. SURVIVORS: his wife, Betty I. Tuttle Beasley of Bloomingdale; two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie Holton, and Pamela and Randy Myers, all of Bloomingdale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy Harley and Saundra Beasley, and Ricky and Tina Beasley, all of Bloomingdale; a sister, Janie Carolyn Riser of Garden City; two brothers, Jack L. Beasley of Tusculum and Albert L. Beasley of Toccoa; and six grandchildren. VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, burial in Westside Memorial Gardens.
