VIENNA, Ill. -- James Leon "Wimpy" Spraggs, 79, of Vienna died Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Spraggs worked for Main Brothers Box and Lumber Co. in Karnak for several years, then for J.W. Reynolds Monument Co. in Vienna. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Watson Spraggs; two daughters; one son, James Leroy Spraggs of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Laura Holloway Spraggs.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Rev. Albert Simmons will officiate, with interment at West Eden Cemetery in Cypress.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
