Mr. Bishop was born on April 23, 1928, in Cullman County, AL to Lem Bishop, Sr. and Bessie Tucker Bishop. He served in the US Army and he retired from Cummings Machinery. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his Sons: Larry H. (Kathy) Bishop of Rainbow City, Thomas (Margaret) Parker of Chicago, Illinois and Billy (Nora) Parker of Chicago, Illinois; Sisters: Faye (Chris) Helms of Gadsden and Patricia West of Gadsden; 11 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his Daughter: Debbie Wilson and Parents: Lem, Sr. and Bessie Bishop.
Funeral Service will be Thursday Sept. 10, 2015, at 1 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Hare officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM. Pallbearers will be Chris, Tony, Shane and Christopher Bishop, Alex Wilson and James Kemmerly.
