Mrs. Alderman Dies Wednesday; Funeral Friday
Mrs. L. A. Alderman, 73, life-long resident of Navarro county, died at her home, Route 1, Corsicana, near Drane, Wednesday afternoon.
Wife of Lewis A. Alderman; daughter of Owen Caleb Wingfield Wallace Sr and Harriett Jane (Colburn) Wallace.
Funeral services will be held from the Griffin Funeral Chapel Friday at 3p.m. with burial in the Dresden cemetery. The rites will be conducted by Dr. Jared I. Cartlidge, pastor of the Seventh and James Baptist Church, Waco, formerly of Corsicana.
Surviving are a son, Ray Alderman, Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Owen Beaman, Corsicana, and Mrs. Orville Bobo, Odessa; six grandchildren and other relatives.
Mrs. Alderman was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Herman Slaughter, Grady Thomas, Elmer Freeman, Roy Bunch, Frank Coley and Emmett Dosser.
