Survived by two daughters - Mrs. O.E. Fitzgerald and Mrs. C.B. Ross; one son - Truman Andrus; two sisters - Mrs. Mary Gilmore and Mrs. Mat Bowman; two brothers - Lewis Andrus and Ed Andrus.

The burial location on the death certificate shows Breckenridge, Texas, but on the death certificate, that's been crossed out and Cedar Hill Cemetery is written in. Kiker Funeral home is in Breckenridge and their records show buried here in the Abilene cemetery.
