Passed away Sept. 27, 1974. Mrs. Gish was born March 4, 1896, daughter of John and Lois Daly and had been a resident of Florida since 1949. She was married to Dr. Ross U. Adams in 1919, who passed away in 1943. She was then married to Daniel B. Gish, in 1946, who passed away in 1952. She graduated from the Battle Creek Nursing School and enlisted in the U.S. Nurses Corp. in 1917, serving overseas in World War I as an Army Nurse. She was a member of the American Legion No. 332, Kalamazoo. Surviving are 2 sisters and 2 brother, Mrs. Robert (Sarah) Harris of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs. Ada Belle Cameron of Lakeland, Fla., John R. and Elmer Daly of California. A son, John F. Adams, passed away in 1938. Mrs. Gish will be at the Truesdale Downtown Funeral Home after noon Sunday, where private services will be held on Tuesday, American Legion Post 332 officiating. Interment, Marshall, Mich. Cemetery.
