Lillian G. Hutcherson, 96, of Marshall died Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Kelling Hospital in Waverly. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Vernon Maxted will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridge Park Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Fund or the First Baptist Church. Born Sept. 16, 1885 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late D.W. Becraft and Annie Grimes Becraft. On April 27, 1904 in Marshall she was married to Garnett R. Hutcherson who preceded her in death June 3, 1948. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and had lived most of her life in Saline County. Survivors include five children, W.W. Hutcherson, Leon Hutcherson, Virginia Lee Hartnett all of Marshall; Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Bane of Bellevue, Wash.; G.R. Hutcherson Jr. of Route Two, Marshall; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a sister Mrs. R.F. (Lucile) Mackler of Marshall.
She was preceded in death by one son Leland Hutcherson and one brother.
