Harris Halvorson, 84, of Bagley died Monday evening April 27 at the Greensview Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Calvary Bible Church with Pastor John Heath officiating. Burial will be in the Bagley City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 207 p.m. Thursday at the Cease Funeral Home in Bagley.
He was born March 10, 1903 in Holst Township the son of Henry and Johanna Halvorson. He was married to Mildred Baumann on April 26, 1926, at Bagley. After their marriage they moved to International Falls and moved back to Bagley in 1930. They resided in Duluth for a short time moving back to Bagley in 1943. Harris worked for 31 years as a clerk in the Red Owl and Olson Grocery Stores. For the past six months he has resided at Greensview Nursing Home. He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred, a daughter, Mrs. Don (Maureen) Jacobson of Galesburg, North Dakota and Elsie Stenseng of Bagley, a brother Stanley of Duluth, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
