She was born Nov. 30, 1926, in Rock Island to James and Minnie Hoffman Swails. She married Richard Robbins July 12, 1947, in Davenport. He died June 30, 1982.
Mrs. Robbins had been employed as a bookkeeper prior to her retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Lovell, Anaheim; daughter-in-law, Deborah Robbins, Buford, Ga.; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a stepbrother, Harold Dexter, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Marc Robbins in 1993, brothers, James and Kenneth Swails, and a sister, Ruth Chambers.
