Funeral services for Ogle Clyde Ford, Sr., 73, of 601 Rose St., Cleburne, will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate and burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Len Gardner, Clyde Ford, Bill Ford, H.L. "Pete" Harper, Joe Cleveland, and Charles Grigsby.
Ford died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Frisco on Sept. 27, 1911, the son of Godfrey and Margaret Ford. He married the former Polly Lorena Jeffries in Forreston on August 12, 1931.
Ford had retired from Snow White Laundry, Memorial Hospital, and Piggly Wiggly and was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Ford of Cleburne; a son, Buster Ford of Cleburne; a daughter, Mrs. Joy Ford-Gardner of Lancaster; two sisters, Vera Gfeller of Vernon and Margaret Kilgore of Coffeeville, Miss.; and three grandsons.
