Ivy Q. Aucoin died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 1991, at Baton Rouge Guest House. He was 71, a native of Pride and a resident of Baker. He was a retired Ethyl Corp. employee with 25 years of service and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Baker, until religious services, conducted by the Rev. Robert Smith. Entombment in Hillcrest Mausoleum, Baker.

Survived by wife, Myrtis Johnson Aucoin, Baker; four daughters, Judith Ann Anderson, Liberty, Miss., Cynthia Ellen Carlin, West Lake, Linda G. Dawes, Lake Rosemound, and Adrienne Elizabeth Aucoin, Baker; three sons, Donald Ray Aucoin, Orem, Utah, William Randolph Aucoin II, Baker, and Ivy Dale Aucoin, Zachary; three sisters, Tressie Noble, Dallas, Texas, Emma White, Memphis, Tenn., and Viola Mire, Lake Charles; five brothers, Milton L. Aucoin, Sulphur, Edgar B. Aucoin, Baton Rouge, Edward C. Aucoin, Lake Charles, Gilbert D. Aucoin, Baton Rouge, and Alvin L. Aucoin, Sulphur; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, William Randolph and Nellie Hubbs Aucoin; and two brothers, Willie C. and Joseph G. Aucoin.
