DIXIE LYNN CARPER FRYE, of Sias WV, born July 17, 1960, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010, at the age of 50 years, four months and 16 days old.
She was the daughter of Barbara Sue Stanley Carper and the late Billy D. Carper, whom she is going home with. She is also preceded in death by one son, Charles Frye III; two sisters, Diane Kay Carper, Patty Jean Carper; two brothers, Billy Darrell Carper Jr. and Billy Dean Carper.
Dixie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles Frye Jr.; son, Charles Anthony Frye (Erica McNeely); daughter, Amber Dawn Frye (Jerod Estep); one granddaughter Kaydence Paige Frye; four sisters, Lillie Mae (Michael) Adkins, Penny Marie Richmond (Jeff Adkins), Kimberly Sue (Moe) Moyer, Tammy (Joe) Vinson; and three brothers, Richard Allen (Christy) Carper, Freddrick Reed (Cindy) Carper and Randy Dale Carper.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday, Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin WV, with the Rev. Russell (Buck) Adkins and the Rev. Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial at Carper-Cooper Cemetery, Griffithsville WV. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
