Funeral Service will be held 2:00 Pm Tuesday December 7, 2010 in Brentwood Chapel, of Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia St, Rev. Marty Hamrick from Polk Street Methodist Church will be officiating; Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Billy was born October 12, 1933 to Benjamin and Leona Barnett in Matagorda County, Texas.

Billy married his wife Sue in 1956 and together they have three children.

He enjoyed life and being outdoors, he enjoyed camping, gardening, riding his Baja or his ATV, He enjoyed his football games and was a Dallas Cowboy fan, most of all he loved animals, his pets were considered part of his family. Billy had a kind heart and could never turn down a stray.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

His survivors are his wife, Sue of the home; his daughter, Betsey Rivas and husband, Lupe of Amarillo; his sons, Richard Barnett and wife Jeanne of Amarillo; Chris Barnett of Amarillo; his six grandchildren, Annie, Alicia, Nicki, Jacob, Blane, Harvey; One great grandchild, Kellen; and his many pets.
